How to Detect Fake Google PR of a Blog
If you are in SEO and blogging world, another simple thing you should learn is to detect if the Google PR of one blog is fake or real. I know that you know about Google PR from PR1-PR10, you are always encountering and amazed with blogs that high PR like PR3 or even PR5. The truth, not all blogs with high Google PR is real; some of them have purely fake Google PR. I started practicing SEO since 2007, but I started to learn how to detect if one have fake Google PR on 2009. It is almost 2 years before I learn the idea that not all Google PR of is real.
Some bloggers are doing the technique of 301 redirect to make their PR0 blog looks like PR5 if you try to check into Google PR Checker’s website or in to your Firefox browser with Google PR checker toolbar plugin. They can easily fool the newbie that have higher Google PR in doing link exchange. So, if you have a blog that have a high Google PR of PR1-PR5, just be careful in doing link exchange. Before you make a deal of link exchange, always check the blog of your potential link exchange partners if their Google PR blogs is not fake.
Some also bloggers is making money by selling links on their blogs that have fake Google PR. If you are buying link, then you can also check the Google PR of the blogs before you buy a links to them. So, it is an big advantage to you if you know how to detect a fake PR.
How to Detect if a blog have Fake Google PR
Just go to Google and type in (info:http://www.the-name-of-blog.com), If you see nothing or if Google display another domain, then that blog have totally fake Google PR. For example, below is the screen-shot of a blog domain that displays Google PR2 on Firefox browser, but in reality it has fake Google PR because Google display another domain on the Google info result.
Actually, there are many Google PR checker here in the internet which you can search on Google, but in my opinion, those PR checker are unreliable and not accurate (believe me). Below is also the screen-shot of my Webthesurfi Rugs Webdesign blog that have real Google PR0 because Google display the same domain on the Google info result.

You can also check its backlinks in yahoo siteexplorer. If it has only few or no backlinks i’m sure its fake.

Why is it that many bloggers aren’t very good in english grammar???
This article has some mistakes. The writer couldn’t express some of his ideas in a clear and correct form(grammar).
ex:(tenses)
It is almost 2 years before I learn the idea that not all Google PR of is real. – wrong

we accept our mistakes. we might not be good in english, but we are good in other. everybody has its own weakness and strength, you might be best in english, but you don’t know how to blog.
our blogs are not just for perfectionist like you, but also for americans who don’t really have a perfect english language.
i appreciate your correction and advices on our blogs, but i dont appreciate your direction because we are not your slave, and you are not our boss.
all i can say is you must know your limitation, whatever english carabao we write in our blog, we just need to share information to everybody, that is our main goal. dont say “it makes no sense” because you are judging that our blogs are “no sense” at all, dont you know that those blog helps those webmaster like me, it doesnt make any sense to you because you don’t know what we are talking. i can see you are insecure and a little bit envy on us, we might don’t have good english at all, but i know we are all good looking and handsome, thats the best asset we have, and not just a perfect english. please also watch your word, proffread your comments, there are english mistakes on it.

lastly, you should also learn from your mistakes. not to look on negative side of other person because of your insecurity. i know you hate us, i can see that, you cannot fool a psychology major like me. because if you are concern, you can apply this what peter tells us on 1Pe 4:8 states that “Love covers a multitude of sins” and accepting our mistakes.

UU, inaamin ko ang pagkakamali ko sa grammar, kaya nga ako nagsusulat eh, para matuto magsulat at ma-improve ang english grammar ko kahit 1% lang. at ang importante, ay matuto mga readers ko sa mga blogpost ko na kahit mali mali ang grammar pero galing naman sa puso ko ang sinusulat ko.

@ english.. you’re funny. you don’t know anything about blogging. If you think blogging is all about perfect grammar then you are definitely wrong. The admin already accepted his weakness in writing and you should respect that rather than tagging his blog as something that doesn’t make sense. i don’t know if you are the one correcting day cody’s work but if ever you are the one i am talking about then i have seen also some of your corrections wrong.
